For many students, the moment they enter the doors of their public school their natural curiosity and joy is slowly extinguished. 

School is meant to harness a child's curiosity and take it to the next level. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way -- especially for economically disadvantaged kids in underfunded and understaffed schools. Many schools with the best of intentions end up squashing the life of learning native to every human being.

At Mayen Montessori, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to explore their unique passions and grow in an environment that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and cultural diversity.
